When life's too hard and you feel all alone
Sadness gives you a chill to the bone
Happiness is a thing of the past
And love it seems just will never last
Mouths can't fight gravity's pull
Nothing is experienced in full
Shame becomes a game
Everything turns a little lame
People say that life's not fair
No one really seems to care
And when you feel like you can't go on
When life's like this, no that I am there
Joy is a fleeting image from above
Hope is just a symbol just a dove
Peace is seen now and then
War comes and goes, gone and back again
Nothing is here for long
Emotion is needed in song
People don't live to long
Life is here, and then it's gone.
