Come On By (Song)

V1:
It seems I’ve found you in the strangest of places
Surrounded by so many familiar faces
It’s like you’ve been there all along
Waiting for me to come by

V2:
What can fill your empty spaces?
While you’re running one of life’s many races
Are you going to peter out?
I can see the finish line

Refrain:
You’re out here on your own
Trying to figure out this thing called life
you wander down this winding road
Waiting for Mr. Right to come on by

V3:
Maybe you and I can go on a date
Catch a film or grab a plate
Maybe I’m the right guy
Do you want to give it a try?

Good Morning (Song)

Refrain:
Good morning, how did you sleep last night
Good morning, how did you sleep last night
Cause I was up all night just thinking about you my light
And I’m wondering if that’s alright?

V1:
Did you dream of me or am I the only one who feels it
Did you dream of me, or did nightmare’s fill your night
I will be your dream catcher, take away the fright
I want to  hold you tight, keep you safe throughout the night

Refrain:
Good morning, how did you sleep last night
Good morning, how did you sleep last night
Cause I was up all night just thinking about you my light
And I’m wondering if that’s alright?

V2:
I want to fall asleep with you waiting for the sun to rise
I want to fall asleep with you watching the stars in the skies
I wish I could be with you, I wish that I could stay
I know I can’t be with you, so my heart’s on its way!

Drowned

I’ve been tired physically and now am tired mentally;
And there’s no one to talk to that will listen
No one to hear that might understand
Tired and wretched soul just yearning for a warm heart
To reach out and grasp so firmly as though it must last
One thousand, one million years
Sorrow and joy fill the sky but I cannot!
No, I must but I cannot hold on to something so inexplicable
So innate in its beauty that I must, I have to hold on

Time wasted, love released onto a cold rock of a heart
It bounces back day by day, night after night
But then like a faucet turned open my cold heart pours forth
Water so pure, so tasteful that one who drinks of it might feel as though
They were just reborn
But it is in the death of my rock that I am reborn
The drowning of it that makes it anew
I have drowned back to life
